Xiaomi, one of the most popular names in the smartphone world, has built a strong user base not only with its mid-range models but also with its flagship devices. The company is currently preparing for its new flagship series. Recent leaks have revealed the camera details of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Will Feature a 200 Megapixel Telephoto Camera
The countdown continues for the series consisting of the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra models. Expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the standard and Pro models are set to be unveiled at the end of this month, while the Ultra model will be introduced in the first month of 2025.
Previous leaks indicated that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra would feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. This lens will be exclusive to the Ultra model within the series. Today, Digital Chat Station disclosed the technical specifications of the device’s camera.
The 200-megapixel telephoto camera lens will be a Samsung ISOCELL HP9. It was revealed that the camera has a 100mm lens, equivalent to 4.3x magnification, with an aperture of f/2.6. The telephoto lens on the device does not stop there, as it also includes an additional 50-megapixel 3x module.
Looking at previous reports, users can expect a round camera island on the device. The 15 Ultra is said to feature a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera.
